Inductotherm brand of Dual track induction furnace with a capacity of 250 tonnes per month is used for melting the Alloy required for these cylinder liners. Once the required temperature is obtained a chill sample is prepared and the chemical composition is checked on a spectrometer. The metal then transferred into ladle.
